Hello, ሰላም ጤና ይስጥልኝ
I’m a Computational Biologist at Monash University working on integrating multi-omics data, including genomics, transcriptomics, proteomics, and epigenomics, to expand our understanding of cellular signalling networks and regulatory mechanisms in health and disease.
Previously, i was WHO/TDR fellow at Infectious Disease Data Observatory and Menzies School of Health Research i applied population genomics and bioinformatics approaches to study Plasmodium vivax in Ethiopia. I am also the recipient of the APHL/CDC Bioinformatics fellowship at the Centres for Disease Control and Prevention. In addition, I have served as both data and project manager for the Pan-African Malaria Genetic Epidemiology Network, supporting efforts to advance genomic surveillance of malaria across the continent.
